Hi all
Sold an item 7:30pm Friday and buyer still not paid, even after I sent invoice.
How long do I wait? and what do I do next?
They have 400 feedback.

I would wait a day, some people only have access to the internet at work
If you still haven't received payment by close of play tomorrow, I would send a reminder then if still no payment after four days, open a non paying bidder
You can actually open a NPB now, but I would wait a while. You're only young once, but you can be immature forever

4 Days & then open a NPB case, which gives them another 4 days, before you can close it & relist the item0

I'm a seller and in situations like these, I wait 3 days and send a polite message citing a "gentle reminder", if no reply in 48 hours, I remind them again, informing them that is there is no payment or contact within the next 24 hours I will need to open a non payment case. And if there isn't, I do.0

I never ever warn a buyer that I'm going to start an NPB case, it sounds too threatening. I just send an invoice at auction end, then another on about day 3 and open a case on day 4. Sometimes I do it slightly quicker.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
