Dying curtains

I have some curtains that I would (hopefully!) like to dye to save me buying new ones.
They are a cream/brown colour with a turquoise fake suede panel. I am hoping to dye them chocolate brown....
The materials on the label are:
40% polyester
30% linen
30% viscose
100% polyester
50% cotton
50% polyester
Any suggestions welcomed! Thanks in advance!

Honestly? Buy new curtains in the colour you want. The problem is that you've got so many different types of fabric that I'd be concerned about shrinkage and dye uptake. Potentially some of the panels may shrink more than others, and some will take up the dye differently. Some of the panels might not dye at all. If you can, it might be a good idea to take samples of the fabric (undo a hem, if there's a decent sized one) and try dying those before you do the whole curtain. Measure them first so you can get an idea of potential shrinkage. If that works, do the whole curtain but give them a good wash first just in case they've been treated with anything.0

Been there, done that, eventually bought new curtains after so much stress, chucking the old curtains towards a charity shop, even when they were nowhere near the colour it wanted I still had to dry them and iron them to be fit enough to go to a charity shop.
Life is too short, get yourself to Marks and Spencer or Dunelm and sit back and enjoy your new curtains.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0
