Annoying adware!!

My computer is infected with something called Coupon Downloader. I cannot find the programme in add/remove programmes, and when I run superantispyware and Virginmedia anti-virus on it, it does not seem to get rid of it. It won't disable in the browser either - nothing happens. And sometimes it hijacks linked words in documents and when using googlebooks it redirects to websites wanting me to buy their stuff.
