I have always been with AOL. whilst the emails have always been easy to access on their site.
I now have this ADNXS pop up on their site all the time, so now I used aol from firefox or google. I find that aol takes ages to sign out from fire fox.
Plus when told aol about this horrid pop up that comes up one after another and another on their site, they are not much help. I dont think they know what the answer is really. They asked me my email name and what country I was in, online. Said their technical staff will deal with it. They told me to use their pop up stopper of which I did, that does not stop it coming through.
My internet also runs slow and assume thats to do with the provider aol.
My friend said that Virgin are not very good and expensive and some one told me that BT is very good but expensive.
What are your views of AOL and other providers? and speeds? and my virus pop up problem I cant rid, its only AOL it comes up on, no other sites.

AOL software is utter junk. Its always been patchy at best.
The software would kick you off the net and tell you your connection was broken. Yet if you login directly and run the software afterwards that proved 100% that the software lost connection as IE and Firefox still had access to the internet.
When AOL sold out to the CPW group i left them for O2, When O2 sold out i moved to plusnet. (plusnet is BT with UK call centres.)
The ADNXS is a bug thats trying to load more adverts. But its opening in a new window or tab instead of the correct position.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Ive been AOL since forever, dont usually have any real problems, certainly not like you mention.
I look at everything through Firefox, too.
I do sometimnes find watching youtube is better in Google Chrome, though - on Firefox it is sometimes slow to load

I left when they wanted me to pay for it.. PAY!!! What a silly idea.
