Just had a look at that gadget thing, it looks fairly straight forward, plug in and I assume it connects to the iPad?0 -

As far as I know it connects to the TV like this diagram, I dont have an Ipad nor a chromecast so cant say if you can connect the Chromecast to the Ipad.0 -

Are you on Virgin cable or Virgin ADSL? (I think ADSL - via phone line - is called Virgin National, and I've heard mixed reviews about it).
Go to http://www.speedtest.net/ and run a test ... what results do you get?0 -
I doubt if you can connect a Chromecast to an iPad, and there's no reason why you would need to as you can save the £25 and access Netflix directly from your browser.
If you want to watch on a TV then you'll need to Chromecast or similar, and if your TV doesn't have a HDMI port then you may well need a new TV. You can use your iPad to control what you watch through Netflix.

A Chromecast won't plug in to an iPad - that is true. However you can use an iPad to cast to and control a Chromecast. (Google search for Youtube links)0
