Savings for House!

So i'm 28 and looking to get a place with my girlfriend. We have over half saved for a house deposit.
We are saving for different things, My Girlfriend is saving for the Deposit and i am saving for the furnishings, fees, and other stuff we may need.
I am just writing this now basically for any advice.
We are both using eBay to make some extra money from old stuff we need. But i shall update this later with whats saved so far more of a log to myself and partner who is on this aswell.
