Your story keeps changing. You said you were in Europe but that 'it' happened in the US. If you've been as inconsistent with them, I would imagine it is giving them pause for thought.

I got that, however I can understand why the card company may be confused.

When were you where, and when and where were the transactions completed?

K, no police report as I came back to the UK before finding out...and the transactions were somewhere in the same city - no idea where, the statements do not say.
