Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask but her goes.
I have a Capital 1 credit card with £1000 owing on it, I am not in any kind of arrears with it but I've been told that because I've been off work sick for nearly a year they are going to end my contract. I have always paid the payment protection insurance. Should I be able to claim on this as obviously money is going to be very tight.
I realise I could ring them and just ask but it costs to call them and I would just like to have a heads up on this before I call them.
Thanks in advance

If your insurance covers this peril, then of course you can claim; you would have been able to claim almost a year ago (save for any initial exclusion period detailed in your documents).
It may also be that your cover only covers you for a maximum of 12 months from the initial incident.
Without seeing your appropriate insurance documents, no one here can really say for sure.
Go on, throw caution to the wind and splash out on that phone call if you think there is a possibilty of a claim.0 -
Is there no e mail address or contact us box on their website?0

You could also check SayNoTo0870 for a freephone number.Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.
ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.0
