Hello everyone, basically i didnt pay £1 to park in my gym carpark about 8 months ago. So they keep sending tons of threat letters. I just throw them in the bin, i know how these cowboys work with all these letters. Anyhow i recieved a new kind of letter which is the 1st time they have sent this. Its from County Court Bulk Centre, st Katharines House, its a claim form they want me to fill out and send it back. So it was £65, then £146, now its £221 with court and solicitors fees. Shall i keep ignoring them now ?

Is it a real court paper with a claim number and 'particulars of claim' and a court seal? If so then OF COURSE you don't ignore it!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

So do i ignore the Claim form ?0

no, unless you want a default judgment. Acknowlege the claim and file a defenceDedicated to driving up standards in parking0

Look this is silly - you have a court claim. Guess what happens if you ignore it - they win a default case against you - and if you ignore that you have a CCJ which they could choose to enforce.
Post #5 of the Newbies thread covers this eventuality and how to defend. Wise up and if you think you are up to the research needed then defend it. Your other option is to pay it. Or you could pay ParkingTicketAppeals to write a defence for you for £19.99.
Why the heck did you follow two year old advice and ignore the Notice to Keeper - you'd have won easily at POPLA if only you'd followed this forum's clear advice.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
