Letter From Rockwell

Hi,
I am in the process of trying to sort out my sisters finances. My sister had an accident and has brain damage therefore cannot help herself.
Okay, her care home have received a letter from Rockwell relating to a £230 debt owed to Shop Direct.
Previously, I had sent a statute barred letter as the debt was years ago, way before her accident.
Their letter back today states:-
Does that mean a CCJ? If the court have issued a CCJ, is that correct that the debt collection agency still chase the debt? As in Rockwell applied for the CCJ? Do the court not send bailiffs or are the bailiffs sent from the collection agency?
They haven't provided any CCJ information (numbers or dates or anything)
Are there any next steps? Thank you.

Debts with CCJs do sometimes get chased by debt collectors.
Sometimes because the enforcement action was unsuccessful.
Sometimes because there was an agreed payment in place that subsequently stopped before the debt was paid off.
You can check if she received a CCJ in the last 6years (either you checking the registry trust online, or her checking her credit files). But if longer than 6years ago it won't show, but the plus side is it is very unlikely they will get permission to enforce a CCJ older than 6years (assuming it even exists), in which case she/you may still choose to ignore it.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Thanks Tixy, short term what do you suggest I do next, pay the £10 to registry trust? If it comes back with nothing is that enough to ignore Rockwell?0
