I notice there are a couple of new IPC members in September. Complete Parking Solutions Ltd and Island Parking Solutions Ltd. I have never heard of either, but gives this is the taste of things to come.

Apart from a few spelling and Grammar mistakes, the CPS website is not too shabby,
http://completeparking.co.uk/
They are, apparently one of the market leaders with 270 sites. It is strange though that they do not display a TA logo.
Island parking solutions (Smart?)

is probably part of The Island Group and a sister company to TPSYou never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Distrust any company name with "solutions" in its name. Private Eye used to have a series featuring this hackneyed word and its overuse by companies and organisations.
Can the system monitor Disabled or Parent & Toddler Bays?
Yes. Additional equipment can be installed to monitor and enforce these bays.
That's the first time I have heard of this technology. Define a "toddler" and how can remote equipment tell what is a toddler? does it go by the child's height , or do they have some magic detector that can tell a child's age? What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
Island Group - once associated (probably just as an installer) with Car Parking Partnership which along with their parent company Liberty Printers was acquired earlier this year by Crapita. Perhaps they were cast adrift and are now having to plough their own furrow although they continue to show Liberty Services as a client?
Years ago Island Group were just a small time FM concern whose service centred on gardening, cleaning and guarding. Given that they are really only offering a self-ticketing service perhaps that have not moved much beyond that? And joining the seriously junior ATA?My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0
