People lose money all the time in buying and selling. It just hurts more when you see it going from your bank account.
When I last sold, I remember a quick phone call to my agent during which I said, "OK we'll reduce by £10k."
It was only after I'd put the phone down that I began to think how long it would take me to save £10k.....but then, it was money I never had.....wasn't it?
And I wish it was the only time I had that same conversation in the ensuing months!0
