Capita lose all my wife's PIP face to face interview

I can't believe this firm, firstly they send her an appointment which she attends with me only to be told on arrival the appointment was sent out in error, so my wife then had a home visit as she struggled so much with their offices, they turned up to carry out the face to face over the next hour only to be told today a few weeks later that all the details of the home visit have disappeared as their computer system crashed and have to assess her again face to face.
The person who phoned from Capita said she would ring back today with another appointment, guess what ?

First of all make a complaint.

Secondly write to your MP with a copy of your complaint.

Thanks for reply, my wife had a letter from Capita today treating her as a new claim and it might take anything up to 26 weeks to make their decision, amazing !

Contact your local MP. If they're treating it as a new claim and you have to go through the system again it could possibly take much longer than 26 weeks. Some wait as long as 8 months and more!! Have you asked why they're treating it as a new claim?

As it's a cross over from DLA to pip my wife is quite happy it might take another six months
