  • I've been very pleased with My Hermes.

All the parcels I've sent on Mondays have been delivered on the Wednesday, with the exception of one sent to Northern Ireland, which was received on the Thursday.

Currently MyHermes items are taking about 3 days for me. The stuff I dropped off on Wednesday is showing out for delivery today

Is it 3 days or less if you drop the parcels off, as opposed to if a courier collects from your house?

I drop mine off but one I dropped off Saturday is at the buyers hub - which means it should go out for delivery tomorrow.

Dropped two parcels off at My Hermes Parcel Shop Saturday afternoon. Both £2.78 each. Both been delivered this morning and its not even 11am yet.

Not sure if My Hermes are quiet at moment or have sped up service as that seems very fast for My Hermes
  • i have a royal mail prepaid business account, so I cant claim for any non-delivery etc.. but I am getting fed up now of people saying they haven't received their item, instead of emailing me direct, they are now going direct to paypal.

so I am thinking of giving my hermes a trial with my deliveries... as it is tracked etc..

I mainly sell clothes etc... and either sell including the postage cost, or add on £2,95

its mainly happening with the low cost items, which include postage etc..

Last couple of parcels I sent MyHermes were delivered within 2 working days, no complaints here.

Plus I get to walk to the shop to drop them off and oops! they also sell chocolate. :D

Mine has loads of reduced price goodies daily, including cream cakes.

I hate going to post office - love going to Hermes shop. :)
  • I recently purchased an item on ebay and received an email from the seller a few days later asking me to leave feedback. I declined as I had not received the item yet.

It turned out that according to RM tracking the item was signed for and delivered. I received nothing so lost the £35 I paid for the item. I filed a claim with RM and received a letter saying that the item was signed for and therefore I had no claim. They sent me a copy of the signature which was a round o on the form. When I said that it obviously was not my signature they replied stating that they got a signature and that's all that matters. It does not need to be my signature, it can be anyone's and according to them that means they've provided the service the seller paid for.

They delivered the item and got a signature. For all I know the postman could have signed for it and kept the item. I now no longer buy stuff on ebay as this has happened to me three times in the last 6 months.

It means that you pay extra for an item to be signed on delivery but in actual fact it means nothing. It's not the seller's fault because as far as they know the item was delivered and signed for so no recourse there and I can't blame them for trusting RM so I am out of pocket because of RM.

    Cheers
