iPhone 4s troubles

After I dropped and cracked my iPhone 4s screen I had it repaired but it randomly the screen freezes and fades to black then turns off, sometimes the only way I can restart is to hard reset but this can take an hour or sometimes I have to leave it over night to hard reset it, very annoying, I've taken phone back to shop in case of poor repair but they have put new screen in again and still does the same any ideas what this could be

  • Official or 3rd party repair?
Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit a wall with the back of your car

Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it

3rd party but in between having the screens replaced I took it to Apple and they couldn't find a fault on it through their diagnostic check

As it's a 3rd party repair, you can kiss goodbye to any Apple warranty until they have changed the screen for a genuine product fitted by themselves.

You can go back to the screen repairer and argue the toss with them, but don't hold your breath as it would be incredibly easy for them to blame something else that is beyond their control (eg, separate hardware or software fault).

As far as Apple's testing routine goes, it's quite possible they didn't encounter the fault during their testing procedure (especially based on your first description that is an intermittent fault)

In that case the phone must have a separate issue.
