Wrote twice to TSB but they cannot find me on their database?

This is getting ridiculous now. My Mum and I decided to write to TSB in April asking for our bank charges to be refunded (as two seperate claims, my account and my mums), then again in June. We each sent our letters in the same envelope but I have never had a response yet my Mum has. My Mum has finally had a letter to say that they will refund her on this occasion but I have never had a reply at all. I have just contacted the customer recovery centre to ask whats going on and apparently I cannot be found on their database and the they have no details of me ever making a complaint!!! Im now back at the beginning, having to wait 28 days for a response then writing again. All in all it could take another 2 or 3 months. Is there anything I can do? I have waited long enough now and I think they are ignoring my claim on purpose.

    If you have a copy you could go to the ombudsman and say they have refused to acknowlege your complaint. We threatened to do this and got a magic response.

    i've had similar problem 40 days are up for 2 nd letter and no reply what phone number should i ring lloyds tsb on, i've got 01264 725214 but no chance of getting through.

  • I rang 01264725214...keep trying cos I didnt get through 1st time but re-rang and got through on second attempt (for what its worth!!)
