We have wireless via talktalk,we have D-LINK wireless ADSL2+ ROUTER attatched to main computer and a usb thing to go into laptoquestion is can we buy another of the bit to go in lap top and if so does it have to be same make.Sorry if its a daft question but l am useless at this!!!

No it doesn't have to be the same make. Nice if it is as it reduces the chances of incompatibility but it's not an essential requirement. Just make sure that it does 54g speeds at least.0
