Does anybody do much in the way of comping?

I've entered a few without much luck but I've spoken to others that have won some decent prizes!

I win on a regular basis, the absolute key to winning a lot is entering a lot, sounds obvious but its true, there is a fantastic guide on the comps board, also enter Facebook and Twitter comps, good luck

Do you enter many student specific competitions?

Yes I enter student specific comps and any other ones that have a prize I would like to win, I enter at least 100+ per day mostly from mse but also from facebook and twitter, I do it in the evening while watching tv and it kind of numbs my mind and relaxes me, its much cheaper and healthier than wine .

How do you manage so many? Do you use the Google chrome autofill function to speed everything up?

I do sometimes use Chrome, its my back up search engine to IE, I have RoboForm installed on IE which saves huge amounts of time, the free version is fine most compers use it. I just work my way through the comps board on here once or twice a day depending on how busy I am you would be surprised how easy it is to clock up the entries it doesn't take that long once you've got used to it and then once a day I work my way through FB and Twitter, I don't even enter all there is to do! I don't do postals but many do and I rarely do dailies, loads do those as well, there is a discussion sub board on the main comps board which will help you with any questions, there are posters on there that are far more experienced than me, it does seem hassle at first but its very much worth it when you start to win, I know a number of compers who enter everything and anything and have a thriving ebay/amazon business based on prizes they have won, I don't do this but again many do, good luck

Everybody seems very quiet!

I've found that Save The Student have a few good deals and competitions on their site. Nowhere near as many as the competition time forum here, but still a few good comps to enter!
