I hope this is the right forum? I used to go to a charity based in Salisbury called shine, who used to advise me about my money and hep me draw up a budget sheet etc. Now they have closed and I have no one to go to now
Can you good people advise me if there is another charity in Salisbury or Wiltshire that could do similar for me?
This is a bit worrying as shine were very helpful, but now they are no more

Hello Louise -
Check my signature. Martin rates CAPUK highly, not that this is a popularity contest.

Put your postcode in and find a freephone no. for your area. CAP Money Courses are excellent, even if you have no debt to be managed.
Or check one of these for the nearest to you:

Thanks it's left a lot of people in the lurch with no one to go to anymore and no one to talk to. This isn't good especially if you want help and advice about money.0

sorry if i sound rather blunt here, but all the times you went to shine in the past did you not learn anything from them? surely what the advised last week would work again next week.0 -
OP, the previous post appears blunt, but the underlying advice is good. If you can adapt the previous budget you were given, it'd be helpful in giving you more insight to your finances.0

OP
It's a shame you aren't in the Windsor/Maidenhead area as the local CAB just set up exactly what you are asking for; personal one to one advice on setting up a budget, managing your finances etc..
Have you tried your local CAB? If you do contact them, ask about the Money Savvy courses some CAB bureaus are running.0
