  • Right, here I am with an update at last ( better late than never):o. I read the thread for inspiration every day and reply to posts when I can.

Since last update 6 or 7 days ago I've made:
    • £39.51 from Amazon (after fees and postage) selling a couple of books and a DVD box set
    • £1.81 refund for querying my till-receipt when they charged me the normal price for an item where the shelf sticker was wrongly showing an offer price
    • £1 found in street
    • £1.15 off shopping from various money-off vouchers
Various small amounts for doing online surveys but am going to ignore these until I receive a redeemed voucher/Paypal and add them then.

    Total: £43.47 :j:j

Congratulations to all who have already exceeded their monthly target. I'm full of admiration:A

I am hoping to have some more money to pay off the mortgage soon. Having a bit of a melt down day today and felt the need for the stabilizing influence of this thread so just popped in for a read :D

PS is there a thread that discusses the offers on TCB does anyone know? xxx

    Afternoon

I renewed DD2s gym membership today and they waived half the rejoining fee so I'm going to put that in here £10.

Ebayers paid and I have £5.22 after fees and another 99per (I don't expect any more but you never know) finishing today.

I'm actually approaching my target this month....unknown!

Good luck to everybody for the last just over a week.

ETA Forgot a 20p Tesco voucher.
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.
