Hi anyone out there who can give me an idea of how much a professional would charge to take out a gas fire please.

My local Gas Safe chap popped in on his way back from a job and charged me £20 to cut the pipe, cap and take it off the wall. I disposed etc.0

Bet he didn't do a gas drop test afterwards!

We paid around £40 in April to cap and cut back pipe. OH took the fire out and scrapman took it.0
