No tv reception

Hi
I have a sharp lcd aquous bedroom tv plugged into an external wall aerial
This tv worked a few years ago and I got all the digital channels with the switch over
I moved city and the reception was poor in the bedroom so didn't get used
I've moved back to the original location. I went to menu and set up I think, typed in 1234 for the code and my only option was factory reset. This scanned but I can't tell if it picked up any signals. All I get is static.
What else can or should I do?

Does it have a digital and an analogue tuner? Are you watching DTV ie the digital bit?0
