Car purchase....change of mind

Hi everyone,
Apologies if this is in the wrong place.
My daughter has paid £100 on her Visa card for a brand new Vauxhall, from A national dealer, she agreed to buy it from our nearest dealer but the dealer decided she would have to buy it from another dealer further away, when she requested it was changed back to the original dealer they managed to persuade her it would be ok, she reluctantly agreed, even though she had to make 17, yes 17 phone calls to finalise the purchase. However, after being told she would receive a phone call today confirming delivery of car, the call never came so she has decided to cancel and take her business elsewhere.
She has sent them an email informing them of this.
Can someone tell me of her rights.... Does the 7 day cooling period rule apply? Can she get her full £100 back?
Does Visa give her any cover if not, it is with Nationwide
Many thanks

Nationwide can be held responsible only if it was a credit card: Section 75 refunds
For chargeback you still deal with Nationwide, not with Visa directly.0 -
If she signed the order on dealer's premises, she'll be bound by those terms, so she needs to read these carefully.0

I don't understand.
Who did your daughter buy the car from? Who did she leave £100 deposit with?
Why would a car dealer that makes money from selling cars tell her to go and buy the same car from a different dealer instead?
It's common practice for new car dealers to do dealer transfers of cars to allow them to sell the exact car a customer wants.
Perhaps you could post a copy of the order/receipt that your daughter would have been provided with.0 -
