Last night at 4.30 pm I ordered a Nokia 3220 Star Wars special edition mobile phone for my son at £59.99. He has been saving up for quite a while and really liked this one. I went on to the Orange website this morning just to check something and it has been reduced to £49.99. Now £10 is quite a bit of money to anybody, never mind a 13 year old boy.
I telephoned them to see if they would change the order price for me as it wouldn't have gone out yet and I could not believe their response. I have to order another phone at the new price and when the original phone arrives, to return the phone back to them under their 14 day money back guarantee.
Surely it would have been quicker, cheaper and easier just to refund the £10 on their computer screen whilst I was on the phone.

Without doubt. Isn't it amazing the way so many businesses have absolutely ridiculous policies?
At least you're getting to save though, albeit in a roundabout way, lol.Herman - MP for all!0 -

Maybe a bit late now but I'd just of cancelled the order. Put phone down and rung up again and ordered it at the newer (cheaper) price.0

wow, so it's not just Vodafone that do this!!! It is amazing, not lest because of the full cost of sending the phone out and then having it returned. Amazing.....0
