Ipc / IAS appeal

So we have had our first appeal rejected and been directed to 'theias.org'. We have applied for our appeal number via this website but they haven't responded after 48hours with the validation email. Has anyone else had experience of this? We are running out of time to lodge our appeal - is this a delaying tactic.

Yep so there is nothing else needed except a robust search of 'IAS appeals' as a keyword on here as these are NOT like POPLA appeals and are still sometimes lost.I think your appeal no is the same as the parking ticket
Show us the signs please if you can. And tell us which PPC this was and whether you waited for a Notice to keeper before appealing as keeper?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The process is quite different in that you have to file more of a defence pack with evidence. We need as much information as you can give without if possible identifying who driver is. Unless you have already given the game away!
Requires a bit more research and work, but it is still winnable.Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Click on words Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Newbie thread is the first post. Blue New Thread button is just above it to left.0 -
Thanks for your help so far. Do we have 21 calendar or working days to appeal. .?
Also when we log into the IAS the place they are saying the pcn was issued is incorrect to the point of the wrong place, in the wrong city can we even continue when the details are incorrect?0 -
Aren't the wrong place and city just the 'greyed out' example words that show you what to put where on the page? No-one else has mentioned this issue with the IAS.
You really need to read some IAS decisions quite urgently, by looking at the 'IAS decisions' sticky thread and the examples I have linked in post #3 of the 'Newbies' sticky thread. Cases are hard to win but the best chance is if you have not implied who was driving in your first appeal and waited for the Notice to Keeper first (as per the Newbies thread advice).
Also please quickly show us pics of the signage wording and if you can get pics of the entrance showing no signs, that's helpful for your appeal. You can't show us working links yet so CHANGE the 'http' to hxxp on your linked pics.
You only 'had' 21 calendar days and so now you have less than that.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
