PPI refund?

I was looking through some paperwork and came across a loan I had back in 2007 with GE money. I signed up for this in June 2007 when I was ripped off purchasing a kitchen and became worried about the repayments so went else where to settle with GE money.

I wasn't aware what ppi was at this point or that I even had it but looking through my paperwork the settlement figure this was still included in the amount I paid off.

So my questions are: Will I be able to say it was miss sold to me and further more after being with them from the 15th June 2007 and settling on the 22nd November should this not have been taken off anyway?

Thanks

You need to go to whoever sold you the Kitchen as they sold you the PPI.

You are correct as to paying most of the PPI back in the settlement figure, when you settled early you would have been given a rebate of the original PPI and you would have repaid the remaining PPI in the settlement figure.

This is Single Premium PPI, use this as one of the reasons for mis sell and the way most of the PPI was repaid by you within the early settlement figure.

Single Premium is basically a loan on the loan to term end with interest.
