Follow this path: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Easy Transfer\PostMigData\****-**-**(Date)\SourceAppList.xml

Once you locate that file save it to a location that's easy to remember. Then open Microsoft Excel, and open the file. Just say yes to the questions it asks, and you will get a nice spreadsheet with your list.

I pasted that path in the search programs box and it can't find anything.

Open Windows Explorer(by opening My Documents for an instance), then you can copy and paste: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Easy Transfer\PostMigData and then follow on to the next folder in the sequence.

You may need to do this beforehand.

    Go from folder to folder...

In other words.... from the C: page to the ProgramData page to the Microsoft page....
