This sweet treat of a prize comes courtesy of our good friends at Niederegger, world-renowned makers of the finest marzipan for over 200 years. They’re offering one lucky winner and a friend a fantastic mini-break in their lovely home city of Lübeck in northern Germany, to be taken in May 2015.
Your prize begins with flights into Hamburg, followed by a transfer to the riverside Radisson Hotel in Lübeck for the first of your 2-nights’ bed and breakfast stay. The next morning, join a guided tour of the medieval buildings and narrow streets of the old town, designated a World Heritage Site for its Gothic architecture and home to beautiful churches and the houses of Thomas Mann and Günter Grass.
Next comes your visit to Niederegger’s world-famous caf! and museum, and the opportunity to see Father Christmas, and another 11 personalities from the history of marzipan, come to (still!) life.
