Where it says more, click on it, and it produces a small box with option to delete shown. Click that and it gets rid of it from your tweets.0

When I click on that, delete does not come up. Do you think I need to re edit my details? Thanks for replying.0

On a quest to try and find a programme that will automatically get rid of all our old retweets (almost 9000 in a year in my case) I have tried a few over the weekend and none have worked.. I think from what I've read that is because all these programmes are successful at deleting old tweets but not re-tweets because they are not our tweets to delete. (Just checked and can't see an option under more on a re tweet which is probably why) By starting from the "ME" tab It seems the only way to get rid is to undo the tweet manually by re-clicking on the retweet button to undo. Your page will need refreshing before it disappears from your timeline but you will see your number of tweets reducing. I've managed to clear a few hundred but it's time consuming and frustrating trying to scroll down to where you want to start from. Once you're there just undo as many as you can before refreshing the page..
Hoping somebody knows an easier way0 -

Sorry, don't know the answer to that. Perhaps it's to do with your settings or something.:(
Having not entered any more competitions since the few on Friday- which showed up okay, but then after tweeting normal stuff a few times, the Friday RT's disappeared from the search returns.
Tried a few more general tweets and did a RT on Saturday, and today checking the search again, my general tweets appeared and no RT's at all.
So whether my RT's are getting to the competitions, I've no idea.0 -
Thanks for your help. I think that the amount of time it will take me to untweet all the tweets ( I have thousands)is really not going to be worth it. I think considering I have not won many tweet comps & only small prizes, I may give up on tweeting competitions all together.:T:T0

Im actually beginning to think the same regarding retweets. I've been doing the Tw comps for around a year and I've probably had about 10 wins in that time which I consider not bad at all .. but I'd say the majority if not all have been those that require an answer or an actual tweet rather than an re- tweet as in the case of my 2 best wins on there which were from H Samuel and Ernest Jones.. Very nice worthwhile wins too. My feeling is I will keep going for now but I'm going to be more selective and try and get rid of a few thousand retweets - although I will probably lose the will to live attempting it.0
