Walk in Wardrobe Options....

Options
Good Morning, im looking to sort this open fronted wardrobe i have, either with sliding mirrored doors or just normal doors, the Mrs has said they must be mirrored so that the only stipulation i have.

Im on a tight budget and could do with keeping it around the £200 mark

Any suggestions would be great.

Either good priced sliding doors or having two normal open out doors made in mirrored glass?

The size i have to work to is 1660 x 1990

ive tried to attach a photo to this post but it wont let me,

Cheers

I think the poshest kind of walk in wardrobe is actually a room. I would build a stud wall to be flush with the bedroom it belongs to and put in a door to match the rest of the house doors.

Otherwise, buy the sliding mirrored doors and track from
Ikea and have a play to make it fit. We've done it very succesfully in the past to streamline awkward shaped rooms.

Curtain track plus curtains will keep it sub £50, MSE remember:money::money:

I bought mirrored sliding doors from Wickes many years ago, and I'm pretty tight so wouldn't have spent much - try them.

Shame you need mirrored - in my last house one bedroom was L shaped so I built a frame across the narrow part, plasterboarded it then made a 'door' out of mdf that was full height from floor to just under coving. I attached skirting to the 'door' and fitted push to open catches. Hey presto, 'hidden' door - looked just like a wall from the main bedroom but you push the wall and it opened to show walk in wardrobe. Lots of man point :D
