Help with UKPC after following sticky

Hi,
Hoping someone can advise, I received a parking ticket from UKPC on 12.7 at Holybrook, Reading for parking on a side street without a permit.
NtK was dated 20.8 but arrived after I went on holiday on 25.8. Assuming earliest arrival date of 26.8 (as 25 was bank holiday) so 28 days to respond was 23.9
Final reminder dated 4.9 arrived 9.9
Sent template appeal letter from sticky on 15.9 so still within 28 day appeal window for Popla.
Today have received letter dated 19.9 from DRP+ demanding payment.
Do I still sit tight & wait for my appeal rejection letter from UPKC, or will they try to tell me I am past the 28 day window? Not quite sure what to do now (apart from not pay it of course!)...

Thats where i got a ticket! Was it that side street near the Oracle by the nice houses?
Anyway i appealed the ticket and won, just had the result come today. You can search my thread to find the appeal i used if you search UKPC + Reading (im not allowed to post links yet).
You should go for it, dont pay, wait for the rejection letter then ask for a POPLA code.0 -
From then dates, they probably crossed in post. Presumably you have a free proof of posting if you read sticky.
The 28 days is from 20/08 so the last date it should be with the ppc is the 17/09. You cut it very very fine.
You could respond simply saying you sent appeal on 15/09, here is copy of proof of posting. Here also is copy of appeal in case it got lost.
Other than that sit tight.
