Karndean Flooring...DIY or not?

Basically I got given some Karndean flooring for free from a friend who had nine planks left over from a job they had done, which is enough to do our downstairs WC which is currently carpeted (eurgh!).
In MSE style...is this something I can do myself?
Under the delightful carpet tiles left by the previous owner is some other vinyl (the really solid heavy duty stuff), and I'm wondering if the Karndean can be laid on top of this, and relatively easily?
If it's not a DIY job, how much would it cost for a fitter? Our WC literally is a loo and sink in a large cupboard...so I was hoping it wouldn't cost very much!

My brother did his own DIY of Karndean in an area of his house and it looks amazing. Rip up the vinyl and screed in advance!0

As a DIY project I would have thought doable. If the sub flooring is flat and sound, you might get away with laying the flooring on top. If the sub floor is the plastic Marley tile like material (rather vinyl) you may have to contend with asbestos:

No need to panic. Just to flag the possibility. Obviously you stated vinyl
Would you put the flooring under the loo? Looks a lot nicer if you do but needs some basic plumbing ability...
Good luck.0
