Hi,
Just bought a pair of Gigaset S820 DECT home phones. The handsets came with 1300mAh AA rechargeable batteries (NiMH), however i have some spare brand new 2500mAh AA batteries lying around (again NiMH), would using the higher capacity cells cause any problems for the handset?
Cheers

no , it would not cause a problem , however if you use the phone for a long time , you will get extra minutes of talk before they go flat , but will take longer to charge0

Give them a try as they will not do any harm but some phones will not recognise or work with other batteries. I have a set of phones that will work with some batteries but not others.0

Some Dect phones are fussy about rechargeable batteries.
