I want to pay Car Tax and Gas/Elec with my Barclaycard.
Could anyone tell me if they would be classed as a purchase when it comes to paying interest or a cash transaction.

Classed as a purchase. I have used the cards myself to pay for utilities. However if you buy car tax there is an additional fee of £2.50.0 -
Purchase.
But beware the charge for car tax and also the loss of direct debit discount on utility bills. It might not be a good idea.0 -
