Applying for a Co-Op account

I just applied for a Co-Op account to take advantage of the switching offer, and after the application it said this:

Where no extra information is required a decision will be sent to you by post or email within 5 working days.

Is this normal for Co-Op Bank? Never been referred for an application before.

I got the same email then less than an hour later got an email to say

Thank you for your recent application for a Current Account Plus through our website at https://www.co-operativebank.co.uk.
We're delighted to tell you that subject to a few formalities, your application has been approved.
In the next few days you'll receive the paperwork and information for your new account.
