A diversified portfolio

Just had a quick play with the numbers in my S&S ISA to work out how I'm weighted at the moment and it looks like this: UK equity 37.1% US equity 15.5% HK/China equity 5.6% Euro equity 27.9% World equity 4.5% UK specialist 4.7% AIM 4.7% I'm relatively new at this and to some extent have been 'playing close to home'. other assets can be very useful, but pure equity portfolios can still be 'diversified equity portfolios'. a person building up a pure equity portfolio, alongside paying down their own home, and perhaps owning a single BTL, does make a lot of sense imo

and i am very much weighted towards UK-listed companies, but if the shares and funds are across different sectors, with revenues generated worldwide, that can still be diverse.
