Hi
I currently have s&s isa with various vanguard etfs :
FTSE Developed world
FTSE UK Equity index
FTS All World High Div
Global Small Cap index
Lifestrategy 80%
UK Government bond index
Since start of 2014 , all showing between 1-7 % drop in value ( All world ftse 12 % ! ) . Is this general theme or any reason vanguard are not performing well ? ( understand its long term investment but thought at least some would show improvement by now ? )
Thanks

The vanguard funds are trackers. They will never perform well or badly. They will perform in line with the markets they aim to replicate.understand its long term investment but thought at least some would show improvement by now ?
An economic cycle is around 10 years nowadays. You are you just looking at less than 9 months. There is no reason why any short term period would be higher/lower.
Perhaps you are investing above your risk profile? You dont give your weightings but the VLS80 is a higher risk fund. and the only lower risk fund is the UK Govt bond fund. And now you are questioning returns in a micro period. This suggests a knowledge/risk issue.
Broadly speaking, you should be a little up, a little down or breakeven depending on when exactly you bought. Volatility in Jan/Feb was highSince start of 2014 , all showing between 1-7 % drop in value ( All world ftse 12 % ! ) .I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The Vanguard FTSE All World High Dividend ETF has never been 12% higher than its current price, so I am not sure what you mean here.
