Edit: Why are there 3 claims on my I should've written :o

Hi

So I applied for 0% financing on a laptop but got refused straight away (don't know why, I have good credit)

So I ordered my credit file and on the date and time it has 3 different instances of a loan application. Why is this? Shouldn't it just be one? And would this negatively affect my credit file?

Thanks

Yes it should be just one.

It might possibly affect your ability to get other credit in the short term.

I would write to the company that searched your file and ask them to remove 2 of the searches.

Maybe one was a credit search, one was an anti money laundering check and the other an administration review?

No write to the company that undertook the seaches, not the credit reference agency.

Assuming, that is, that all 3 are credit application searches.
