I disagree
There are bargains to be had. The Sun holidays are a good example of this for holiday centres, hotels often have special offers etc. It's all down to research.

I do agree the OP needs to post on the correct board though- with a bit more detail about what kind of holiday and what they feel is affordable to get the best advice.
