MONEYWISE
With the new school year firmly underway, secondary school pupils across England are finally learning about personal finance. They join their peers in Wales and Scotland in learning about debt, income tax and money management.
At Moneywise, we believe it’s never too soon for young people to learn about their finances and that by mastering the basics early on in life, they will grow up to be the most financially savvy generation yet.
It’s so important to us that we have decided to team up with insurance comparison website Gocompare.com to offer the UK school with the best personal finance teacher(s) £5,000 worth of equipment.
Secondary schools teaching personal finance across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland have from 1 October to 31 December to register below to enter the competition.
To register, teachers or parents must nominate the school and enter contact details such as the school’s address, teacher name and email addresses.
Then, from the start of Spring term in January to its end in mid-April, schools and parents can formally enter the competition by submitting their entries to the website, including video and audio files. The winner(s) will be announced in June.
