Hmm not that I'm aware of but I'm not actually sure, where did you get this info from - genuine question? My cat has the chicken or fish cans for tea, but dry food aswell for breakfast/throughout the day. According the vet she's very healthy!0 -

Encore is rebadged applaws.
It says on the applaws site that their wet is complementary and is to be fed with a complete dry food.

Thanks, I've never seen that brand before, though the price is about the same anyway. It does say it's complimetary but is not all wet food complimentary? My cat had dry food everyday aswell anyway so I'm not concerned, I just buy Encore, as oppossed to say Whiskas of Felix, for her wet food. Though she was not keen on them anyway and used to lick the jelly and leave half of it.0 -

No. Most wet food is complete. I very rarely see complimentary cat food. Even crappy whiskas and Felix.
One of mine will only touch the chicken applaws wet too. The other likes pât! types so hi life and natures menu for him, usually Hi life. Although lately instead of buying applaws I've just been getting a chicken breast. Boiling it and shredding it. Which is basically what applaws chicken wet food is.
Like you mine also have dry so complimentary food isn't an issue. But worth mentioning it for those that aren't aware and may be feeding just that.Sigless0 -

Thank you that's useful to know. She likes hi-life too - though not as much.0
