Hello
I would like to know if any of the members on this board could recommend a good trading platform for me to buy shares?
There are a couple of companies I would like to put a small amount into for the longterm, but want some broker recommendations before I go ahead.
Does anyone have any experience of London south east?

Assuming UK shares in GBP and just an execution only service without advice, you can't go far wrong with x-o.co.uk.
If you are just buying and holding for the long term you don't need the same features as someone regularly 'trading'. Trading tends to refer to buying and selling reasonably frequently. If you are just going to buy a small amount for the long term there are loads of stockbrokers that let you have an online account with them, but some will have account maintenance or inactivity fees which X-O does not.
http://monevator.com/compare-uk-cheapest-online-brokers/ should do the trick though there are a whole bunch of threads on this forum talking about cheapest platforms and best available S&S ISAs.0 -

Thanks!
I will have a look at that one. I don't plan on trading on a day to day basis, so just the very basic account will do for me.0
