Tail lights staying on Ignition off

1994 Nissan Sunny (B13 ) have been using car today , no problems. leaving the house tonight (on scooter) noticed the tail lights on , low and behold they are switched off and no headlights on , In a rush so didn't have a chance to Investigate , Any Ideas ???

I would say bad earth being 20 years old.
If not that, ignition switch or light switch.

Could Be a relay stuck on.

Ah, what do they do when you switch the lights on??

Hi , rotating switch made no difference, is quite a dusty climate though so i'll strip the cowling back and try a blast of compressed air. Thanks

Thanks all , It's the Brake lights and I found a small broken " doughnut" in drivers footwell , My guess then is Brake pedal switch
