Hi there Can anyone help? I previously claimed PPI from an old bank loan and this was quite a plain and simple process. I then tried to claim PP1 on an old credit card but was refused. I am sure I also paid PPI on another credit card and on a previous car HP but I have no details to work from as I destroyed all paperwork I had to celebrate paying off my debts many years ago over ten years ago which I thought was too far back to claim. I have been recently been contacted by two companies on many occasions telling me that there is now legislation to go back further and the fact that my details keep coming up on a list that's shows unclaimed cash. I am obviously very wary of any such companies but I am sure there are still funds outstanding in my name to be claimed but I really don't think such a list exists and I wont sign up for someone to rip me off! Is there a away of getting details of all credit agreements that I have had in my adult life? Thanks in advance.

Claim companies have no access to such information either, so don't believe their sales patter.
You can write Subject Access Request (SAR) letters to all your old lenders at £10 a time, but this could prove expensive and they are unlikely to have kept information on file for you older than six years unless you still bank with them.0 -
thank you.
I didn't think so but wanted to check.
No regretting throwing everything out!
