Do canon printers come with ink?

Ok So i bought a cannon PIXMA MG3550 Printer It came with ink. Do canon Normally supply full ink with their printer or is it a bit less ink and you have to buy more??

  • So called "starter cartridges" contain less than the maximum volume of ink. Read the specification for your specific model.

    Over the last ten years, cartridge reservoirs have shrunk from around 25cc to only 5cc. Manufacturers claim this was done because modern printers have become more efficient and use less ink. That may be partly true but 5cc is a pitifully small amount.

    I use only laser printers now. Not as good for glossy photos but more economical for everything else.

    Don't forget the money is made on the inks not on the printers
