My old upvc double glazing and doors are in need of replacement. I’ve had several quotes from recommended Local installers (family run companies to Sole Traders). Prices vary from £5,600 to £10,000. Profiles so far include duraflex, kommerling, rehaus or veka.
I’ve also had Veka Network quotes from companies in Warwickshire, prices vary from£7,600 - £10,900.
Window Sizes:-
4 x (115cm x 113cm)
1 x (116cm x 127cm)
1 x (115cm x 97cm)
1 x French doors (177cm x 206cm)
Bay: 1 x (172 cm x 127cm) and 2 x (48cm x 127cm)
1 x (45cm x100cm)
2 x(86cm x 100cm)
1 x (173 cm x 112cm)
Doors:-
2 x Composite Door s (206cm x 89cm)
Additional Info:-
25mm Georgia vertical bar.
“A” rated windows.
Planitherim glass
Argon filled
Warm edge spacers
All FENSA registered companies
70mm profiles
10 year warranty
There is such a wide difference between the quotes. Part of me is thinking to go with the cheapest Veka Network quote as I’ve heard the network has a good reputation. However, this would still be over £2,000 more expensive than the cheapest quote which happens to be a NON Veka Network installer at £5,600.
Any advice much cheaper.

Opting for a top window profile becomes irrelevant if they are installed poorly. Go and have a look at installations completed near you by the companies who've quoted.0
