I have just tried to register with 1899 and received this email -
"Unfortunately your 1899 internet registration has failed.
Due to lack of capacity it is currently not possible to register. Please wait at least 6 weeks before attempting to register again. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
Kind regards,
1899 Customer Services"
So I am glad I am already on 18866 now! I wanted 1899 for cheap mobile calls, but c'est la vie!

Hi,
If you do a bit of a search through these forums, I believe that some MoneySavers have had success registering a mobile phone number instead of a home phone number when they get this email. You can then add your home number to the account once it has been registered and remove your mobile one.
I have not tried this myself (as I had no problem), but a lot of people seem to have had success with this method.

Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").
They're - colloquial/abbreviated version of 'They are'
