My girlfriend is having to find a new place to rent as her current landlord is selling up.
She's been asked for references from her current landlord, her employer and her bank. She's always paid the rent on time and has never caused any problems for the landlord and she's been working at the same company for a couple of years now so I don't see any problems there. However she does have quite a large overdraft and I was wondering if this is likely to cause a problem with the bank reference?
She's terrible at managing her finances but she's paid off a lot of debt in the last few years but I'm a bit worries that the overdraft ( about 2k ) could be a problem. Of course the letting agents plan on keeping the 200 quid deposit if the references come back with any problems!!!
Any thoughts?

As long as any overdraft incurred has been agreed with the bank , and GF hasen't been naughty with her finances, no CCJs, there won't be a problem.0
