Thanks for the replies i have already reported it to the police and they just logged it with the natonal fraud database :( sorry i didnt mention this earlier the claims where made at my parents address and the same issue has happened to my dad although he has had 12 loans in his name but was not in the country for the whole of 2011. Strange though the dwp believe that an entrance and exit visa is not prove of leaving the country. We believe that someone gained access to his home and found some documents. What i have asked for is what identification was used to get said loans and according to dwp they dont have that on file. I just cant believe that they can use an attachment of earnings order with the only prive ut was me is 22 signertures that vary wildly

I didn't think that the UK had exit visas.
  • Credit report is ok and just a family member to check on property also a quick update.

N.I fraud team are still investigating there end but have stated they do believe there is fraudulant activity on my account

Finally got through to DWP fraud team who are now looking into this but already believe ut to be a fraudulant claim or a mix up in 2 people.

I was going over the forms i recieved again and found that the repayments were setup to be taken from a jobseekers account so spoke to them and they declared that i have never recieved jsa ot any other benefits.

Social fund have now put the account on hold with the debt managment department whilst being investigated

It turned out the department i was solely dealing with was the dept managment team who was refusing to investigate looked into it on the web and there are a few cases which are very similar, refusal to investigate very rude and aggresive tactics to make you pay etc

Hopefully now will be sorted out
  • Exit visa was leaving turkey to return to uk also has tickit reciepts for the airline to back those up
  • Sorry for poor spelling fat fingers and small screen

Was your father in receipt of any benefits?
If he was, had he advised the benefits people that he was leaving the country for an extended period so they could stop the benefits that would have stopped? they should have that on record

No he just took a year out and lived off savings.

Another twist Dwp have phoned back saying they have decided to continue collection . I asked for the reason why they are ignoring a request from there on fraud team. And refuse to put anything in writing to suppirt there decision to continue. I asked if they record the calls at there end and the answer is no so they can say what they want really with no come back. I just need to know what they consider is proif of not taking these loans. I know its easier to judge a length of string
