Paris Hotel for sightseeing

Can anyone recommend a decent hotel in the centre of paris that is handy for sightseeing please. I am taking my 11 year old neice on 13th August for 3 nights..travelling with easyjet....and we need somewhere that is not too far from the sights and that is fairly decent quality.Any help would be welcome, thanks.

When we went a few years ago, we stayed at the Kleber Hotel (http://www.kleberhotel.com/index-gb.htm). Its halfway between the eiffel tower and the Arc De Triomphe. There is a metro stop a few mins walk away. The place is a 3 star hotel and is priced well considering its location. Have a look at some reviews on www.tripadvisor.co.uk too.

Went to Paris July/August last year and stayed at the Best Western Au Trocadero. You can find reviews here.

I booked through Cresta Holidays and would definitely stay here again.

Hello - I stayed at the Appia Lafayette Hotel which is about 10 mins walk from Gard du Nord Station . I booked a reasonable rate through the "rates to go " werbsite. I would advise looking at that site and others and then checking reviews at tripadvisor and then making up your mind. Bon voyage!
